I will indefinitely postpone my posting on deviantART given their abhorrent stance in the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, siding with the ones doing the genocide as we speak.

The "state" of israel is and has always been found under the pretext of ethnic cleansing and settler colonialism. For 75 years, it has engaged in an ongoing genocide of Palestinians ever since the Nakba in 1948. Brutal repressions and forced expulsions have plagued Palestinian communities ever since the settler colonial state's inception. For the last 20 years, the apartheid state has constantly engaged in genocidal campaign against Palestinian people by keeping 2 million of them in a literal open-air prison we call Gaza today.

There are not enough words to explain the plight of the Palestinian people in this one journal. I will however encourage all of you to educate yourself in the pretext of this ongoing conflict as we're witnessing an ongoing genocide.

So it turns out that my original PayPal has been indefinitely suspended due to an age discrepancy. After contacting their customer service it's unfortunately gone forever.

However, they did allow me to make a new account, as well as withdrawing the remaining funds from my old account by enabling me to change my old account name to match it with my bank account.

This means I could still accept commissions using my new PayPal account. However, I still have a catalog of commissions I need to work with first, and after all of those are finished, I will definitely let you guys know!

Sad to give this news but my hopes of restarting commissions is shot down because PayPal decided to be a dick today.

I made my PayPal account when I was 15 years old, and my first transaction with it was like when I was 17, just a year before the mandated 18-year old age limit. However, I've already verified my account using my passport back in the day and they didn't really bat an eye about it.

I will try to resolve this given I've conducted the majority of my transactions in the last 3 years or so and I am already well above 18 years old at that point. It would be a really dickish move for them to permanently punish me for a mistake I did all those years ago nowadays.

My best case scenarios are to try contacting their call center to restore my account ala Twitter given I could appeal their decision of suspending my account just because I made it before I was 14 years old, in which I hope PayPal could do the same, or to simply pressure PayPal to let me either withdraw or transfer my existing funds to a new account if restoring my current one isn't possible.

Been a while since the last update of my commissions - sorry to say but I think I'll be closing it for the next 2 months until mid-February next year. Really need to focus on my academics as I'm going for my last push into getting my final project being accepted and done for after whatever I've been going through this year!

In the meanwhile, I might be able to try to catch up on the current commission lineup as I go, although I will definitely be focusing more on my academics for obvious reasons!

Sorry for the late announcement - but PayPal finally registered itself to my country's electronic systems operator list. This means that PayPal is no longer banned and I am able to receive commissions again!
